Chase has announced several new perks for customers with its premium Sapphire Reserve credit card, and one of the perks is a pair of Apple services for free. Well, other than the interest you’ll pay on the card.
Users of the credit card can now score complimentary annual subscriptions to Apple TV+ and Apple Music, which is a value of up to $250 per year. The complimentary subscriptions run through June 22, 2027.
User that are already paying for Apple TV+ and/or Apple Music directly through Apple will see those subscriptions be automatically suspended and replaced by Chase’s complimentary subscriptions during the offer period.
Keep in mind that the perk doesn’t extend to users with an Apple One subscription bundle. Apple One users will continue to be billed even while the complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music subscription from Chase are active. So, plan accordingly.
Other perks for cardholders include:
- $300 annual StubHub credit on concert and event tickets
- $120 in annual Lyft in-app credits, up to $10 monthly, plus 5x total points on eligible Lyft rides
- $300 annually in monthly DoorDash promos and complimentary DashPass membership worth $120 annually
- 10x points on eligible Peloton equipment and accessory purchases and up to $120 in annual statement credits toward Peloton memberships
It should also be noted that Chase has also raised the annual fee of the Sapphire Reserve from $550 to $795, basically making it a push when it comes to the true calue of the $250 value of the complimentary Apple TV+ and Apple Music subscriptions. However, Chase says the card now offers more than $2,700 in annual value, so there’s that.
